I have been looking forward to this series which I'm sure will last many, many years. Jacob has now reached the stage where he's thinking independently and we can carry on small, non-sensical conversations. I plan on posting many of these during this stretch.
The first two have occurred over the past two days.
DADDY: Jacob, did you take a nap today?
JACOB: Yes!
DADDY: How long did you sleep.
JACOB: Two minutes!!!
DADDY: Where's the camera?
JACOB: Camera...gone.
JACOB: Mommy take camera?
(Mommy was at the gym)

Be sure to fill your daddy's ears full of all that is going on in your life; those are precious memories. I enjoyed talking to you on the phone today,and I can't wait to have a big conversation with you face to face. We will have a good time talking about all that is important to you and me!!!
