Happy Easter!!! Part 2

Easter was a big hit for Jacob. He has been very kind to his daddy upon his return from Greenwood and the Easter Bunny paid particular attention to this. Jacob was elated with his gifts. We had an enjoyable brunch with the Heberts as well! In other news, it appears pops will be going home Monday!!!

A two-parter on Easter 2009. These pictures were taken last weekend as Jacob had his first encounter with the Easter bunny. He was not only unafraid of the Easter bunny, he was very intrigued by him. As I may or may not have mentioned in previous posts, Jacob isn't afraid of things he should be afraid of...but rather terrified of unconventional "monsters," such as garbage bags and yawning. Jacob's friend, Lila Parnell, on the other hand WAS terrified of the Easter bunny. And chocolate is very likely terrified of her!

Pops update

Pops is still in the hospital after surgery but appears to be recovering just fine. Today, he had semi-solid foods, such as scrambled eggs and macaroni and cheese. There is still no word on when he'll leave the hospital but it will likely be Sunday or Monday. The Bristers are all so thankful for your thoughts and prayers, which have been many. The surgery went well on Wednesday; the kidney was removed and there is no sign of cancer anywhere else on the body! I will keep you posted.

Pray for pops

Everyone, I ask for your thoughts and prayers today as pops (Davis's dad) is going in to have a kidney removed. Long story short; he had bladder cancer several years back which was successfully treated. Recently, some tumors re-emerged and spread to one of his kidneys. All should go well but a few warm thoughts would not hurt! Thanks!
