First Day of School
It was an emotional day in the Brister household for one certain little fella went to his first day of school today. Of course, I wasn't very emotional, considering I leave him five days a week. However, today was one of the first times (if not THE first) Jacob has been left was virtual unknown people. Su, myself, or one of the Heberts has generally been around. By all accounts, Jacob did very well today and enjoyed himself. Mommy shed a few tears but I was proud of her too! Here is a shot I took just before school.

You look like such a big boy on your first day of "school".I'm so proud of you for going and having a good time.Mommy said you were very tired when she picked you up,and I told her that playing is hard work!

What a big day in Jacob's life..He is going to be fine and love it!!..Can't wait to hear more of his school experiences..

what a big boy - going to school like that! hope that he enjoys his time away with friends as much as myrt does...i swear, on weekends, she sometimes seems bored without the art, dancing, playing outside, etc. ;)
