Batter Up!

Another sign of spring...baseball season!!! Jacob is quickly picking up on his daddy's favorite sport growing up. Nothing beats a day at the ballpark in the spring...and if you're too young to go at this point, just eat a baseball at home.

 

 

Spring is Nigh

I really don't know what to say about this picture other than it's darn cute and a signal that spring has arrived!!! Daddy does not quite look this good after a long hard day in the yard. Thanks to mommy for working extra weekend overtime while I try to whip the yard into shape.

 

Sweet Potato Man

A sweet treat for a sweet boy. Jacob clearly has a favorite when it comes to his meal times. Still pictures don't show the whole story about how excited he gets over sweet potatoes. He will eat a whole tub in one sitting! I wish I could figure out how to upload video onto the blog but this computer will not let me.

 

Treat Week

After an entire month of virtually ignoring this blog, I've decided to treat all of the passionate fans out there to a special week. A new picture of Jacob every day..capped off with a little bit of information about what's been going on in his life. This picture may look relatively normal, but it's not. Hopefully, you will be able to click on it for a closer look and you'll notice his first tooth! This has been about four months in the making, as the drooly pictures will prove. Hard to believe the little tooth man is eight months old!

 

It's Been A While

I know it's been a while since posting when my own wife starts asking when the next blog post is going to be! I took these pictures a week ago but it's a pretty good indication of where our little 7 1/2 month tot is in life. Amongst his favorite things to do right now...peek-a-boo, showing us how big he is with his hands, and pointing at ceiling fans. We have also captured these milestones on camera.

Mardi Gras Mambo! (Belated edition)

Tis the Lenten season, which means we have just wrapped up another week of Mardi Gras festivities. Still weird for a Mississippian, as school is out, and most families are on vacation--and yes, they get spring break too! I was hoping to post a picture of Jacob with ashes on his head from this morning but you cannot tell anything from the pictures. So instead, here are some shots from the weekend in New Orleans and Jacob's first Mardi Gras.
