We celebrated a big July 4th in Mandeville yesterday. Jacob, Patrick and I went to a 4th kiddie parade in our neighborhood in the morning and Suzanne joined us at the pool later.
And I did something I don't think I've ever done in my life...cooked twice in one day. We had pancakes for breakfast and steaks for dinner. A decent effort for someone who doesn't think fondly of his own cooking. There's always room for improvement!
Nevertheless, it was great spending time with friends and our two boys continue to get bigger and love one another.

wow, each time i see patrick i am shocked by how quickly he is growing! what happened to the little baby?!? they look precious in their outfits, and it looks like y'all had a blast on the fourth - we'll have to join in the parade next year, as well!
