Our first night with Patrick is over and it was quite an uneventful night. Poor Suzanne is still "wired up" and it was a real struggle for her to sleep at all. I got four or five hours on this piece of concrete they call a bed.
Most importantly, Patrick slept well. We kept him in the nursery most of the night, save when he came in to nurse.
He currently is sleeping between us and seems to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Suzanne has graduated to solid foods and is looking forward to a pancake breakfast this morning. I need to graduate to a diet, because I've had too many pancakes and the like these last few months!
I'll try to get some more pictures of the little man. Jacob did well with Nana. One note there; it was his first time to spend the night away from his parents. It does not sound like he missed us!
Today is his last today of school. I'll check in again later today. Thanks for all the kind notes and well wishes!

Im so happy to be an Aunt again!! He's SO Cute!! I cant wait to meet him in person.

Hope Suzanne's recovery is going well. I know it's hard after a C-section. Can't wait to see the pictures when Jacob meets Patrick for the first time!

We just got in from choir practice where several people saw your picture on the blog on the iPhone. Three people at different times said the picture where you are sleeping looks just like your Pops! ~of course it could be that he sleeps a lot! :-)
You are a pretty boy,and we can't wait until we see those chubby cheeks in person.
