Spring has finally sprung in Louisiana, which can only mean: a.) The miserable hot summer days are just around the corner and b.) Easter is here!!! Jacob got a head start this past weekend with a trip to see the Easter Bunny and participation in his first easter egg hunt at the Parnell household. I'll post the bunny pics tonight and the hunt later this week. Sadly, the hunt was not one of the better efforts in picture taking from the Brister household but we've got a couple of managable photos.
A couple of comments about these pictures. I would say that Jacob is more into flags and balls than he is golf. However, a father can dream...hopefully, his golfing skills will be better than mine! Also, we were pleasantly surprised at how Jacob took to the Easter Bunny. Bunny is 2-0 when it comes to not making Jacob cry. I believe Santa is in second place at 1-1.

Oh, it won't be long before he will be wanting to hit that golf ball, and then your serious practicing/playing days are going to be few..We used to take our kids out while their dad and I played, and once they put the first club in their hands, it was over for us...Playing 9 holes with them took most of the day, but it was a good thing..Now my grandchildren are the same with their mom when she goes out to play..
What a brave little boy to like costumed people...Mine were never that brave..Not sure grandchildren are, either..

What a fun day it must have been. Bebe doesn't like big,furry characters to this day,so I'm glad that you are braver than she ever was. You looked so handsome in your baby blue outfit! Your Pops would love to take you golfing sometime.I hope that you have a very happy Easter.
