Well not really...but maybe. The blog has been thoroughly updated tonight, back through the first of the year. We still must go back to Christmas but that will be another task for another night.

Field Day 2012

Jacob, Suzanne, and I got to experience his very first Field Day at St. Timothy's Pre-school today.  It was great to see him interact with his fellow students, especially because of the fact that he will reveal absolutely nothing about his experience this year!  As one who never had (or has) a problem sharing his life's experiences, I must say this drives me nuts!  But the bottom line is that Jacob has lots of neat friends and two great teachers.  Here are some highlights:

Mardi Gras 2012

Mardi Gras 2012 was a rousing success. Both boys loved everything about it. And while a not surprisingly tiring experience, it was worth every second. We stayed off of Poydras St, which was a perfect area to catch a parade, not a lot of traffic nor "riff raff" and plenty of people sharing in beads and fun. Jacob and Patrick love hotels and restaurants as well so this was the perfect experience for the little ones.

Suzanne wisely takes--or has pictures taken--of the boys in all of the seasonal shirts she makes them. On this night, she asked that I take the picture of them in their St. Patrick's Day shirts and this is what I came up with. :)

Welcome, Baby William

Baby William Clements and family recently visited the area. Mommy, Renee and Daddy Bill competed in the New Orleans Half Marathon. Poor Jacob was sick on the front end of the trip so there was not as much "hang out" time as hoped for, but the trio still managed to enjoy one another for a day or two.

Soccer Tots

Jacob has been participating in Soccer Tots, a weekly 101 on how to play soccer. (I could probably take lessons, too). It is pretty amusing to watch. Jacob gets really into the early part of the experience but by mid-way through he is "tired" and "needs to rest." There are also some kids in hear who are very, very good!!! Next up is Little Sluggers!
