Blasts From The Past

Let's go back in time a bit and show you the progression of Patrick. The first two pics were taken about two weeks ago and the second two a little more than a week ago.

Finally!

Here's proof that Patrick has indeed changed since the last pictures were posted. More to come soon!

Update

Not much new to report at this point. Su took Patrick to our pediatrician who wanted us to try a small amount of rice cereal in his milk and see if that settled his stomach. We'll report back in a week. It's been hard to tell if it's working because P has also been saddled with constipation. Poor little thing is just so uncomfortable much of the time.

In good news, P nearly weighs 10 pounds. He does like to eat and it shows. I cannot wait to get my camera back from the Heberts house so that I can post pictures!!! Bare with me, though, as their house is two whole blocks away.

Jacob continues to roll with the punches. There's been lots of Barney time. Tonight, we watched one of them twice and then part of Thomas the Train which is growing on him. Thank goodness because Barney's allure is definitely wearing on me. And I'm sure my co-workers will be happy when I get walking around the office whistling songs from that stupid show. And now they're all coming into my head all at once!

Checking In

Checking in here after a long hiatus from posting. There's good reason for it! Patrick has his one month check-up tomorrow. Suzanne and I will both be highly surprised if it's not announced that he has some form of reflux. The poor thing is so uncomfortable and just screams hours at the time. This has made for long days and nights for everyone recently. I'll update the blog tomorrow night with the news. The good news is that he's growing nicely. Big brother Jacob is hanging in there as are we all.

I do have updated pictures but I left my camera at the Heberts house on Father's Day and haven't returned to retrieve it! I guess by the time I get it back, it will be time to take update pics.

Soccer Tot

Yeah! Jacob is officially an athlete! Concerned with having nothing for him to do this summer, Suzanne enrolled Jacob in a local program called Soccer Tots. As you might imagine, the class is not very intense. However, by all accounts, Jacob already knows how to move a ball towards the goal! I'm not much of a soccer buff, but at this rate I will be in no time. Suzanne said Jacob listened to instruction very weel and followed everything the teacher asked of him. Part of this is due to the fact that he's become very shy around a lot of strangers, so he'll do what he's told. I'd like to believe the other part of it is just good parenting!

A special thanks to Aunt Tee Tee (KK) who snapped some pictures. She has become the resident babysitter as we've "hired" her for the summer to help us through these first couple of months.

New Week, Still Tired

I will not try to pout too much. I am at least getting five hours of sleep or so while Su is only getting three hours at the moment. Little Patrick is a cryer. He has major tummyaches, which is both frustrating and heartbreaking at the same time.
Suzanne has FINALLY gotten over her health issues and since I last posted Jacob had a virus. It was trying times there for a few days.

Here are some updated pictures. I forget what this thing is called below but both of the boys like it (it's intended for Patrick but something tells me our little boy who will soon be turning Terrible Two will make it his own)

At least he's willing to try to share his binky, which we have prevented thus far! No co-mingled binkies!
