Pre-Halloween Festivities

This year's festivities included the usual stops at St. Timothy's Methodist Church (Patrick's School, Jacob's former school, and Ryan's future school) and at the Boo-fet at the Beau Chene Country Club.  We too much candy was collected and inhaled.
 

 

 

 

 

 

Party Night

The Mills family was kind enough to have us over for dinner and to watch football.  The kids had a great time.  With all of our busy lives, we don't get together enough!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jacob's First Field Trip

This is Jacob's very first field trip as a Pre-K 4 student at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic School.  The class went to a farm on the outskirts of Mandeville.  Suzanne got to accompany him on his trip.

Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy was not powerful enough for us to leave Mandeville.  However, it did scare us into going down the street to the Heberts.  Why, you ask?  Because we have about 40 trees on our property and the Heberts have about 2 trees on theres. 

This picture looks like great fun but there was no power at this point!  Luckily, we were out only about 24 hours.  I have no clue how people survive without it for substantial periods of time.

Approximately 20 trash bags later, our yard was picked up and looking good and none of those trees did much damage.
