Easter Weekend Activities

Easter 2012 is in the books.  Thanks primarily to mommy and the Easter Bunny, the boys had a fantastic and well planned holiday!  Among the fun activities, dying eggs with Aunt Colie, egg hunts at our house and at Nana and Pawpaws, lunch at the country club, a jammed packed church service, topped off with running through the sprinklers at the end of the day (which explains the bizarre picture at the end)!!!
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Breakfast With Bunny

The annual "Breakfast with Bunny" extravaganza took place this past weekend at our country club.  Contrary to popular belief, Patrick did not wail when we sat him in the bunny's lap.  He chose a more "stoic" route that he usually reserves for men that he's unsure about, namely Johnny (KK's boyfriend) and Mr. Nick Mills!  Congrats.  You two are now in select company with one E. Bunny!

Field Day 2012

Jacob, Suzanne, and I got to experience his very first Field Day at St. Timothy's Pre-school today.  It was great to see him interact with his fellow students, especially because of the fact that he will reveal absolutely nothing about his experience this year!  As one who never had (or has) a problem sharing his life's experiences, I must say this drives me nuts!  But the bottom line is that Jacob has lots of neat friends and two great teachers.  Here are some highlights:

Mardi Gras 2012

Mardi Gras 2012 was a rousing success. Both boys loved everything about it. And while a not surprisingly tiring experience, it was worth every second. We stayed off of Poydras St, which was a perfect area to catch a parade, not a lot of traffic nor "riff raff" and plenty of people sharing in beads and fun. Jacob and Patrick love hotels and restaurants as well so this was the perfect experience for the little ones.

Welcome, Baby William

Baby William Clements and family recently visited the area. Mommy, Renee and Daddy Bill competed in the New Orleans Half Marathon. Poor Jacob was sick on the front end of the trip so there was not as much "hang out" time as hoped for, but the trio still managed to enjoy one another for a day or two.
