On behalf of Su, I want to thank all of our family and friends for making this day special for Jacob and also for us. It was a wonderful event. I am sorry that I missed getting pictures of Michael and Nicole but I will make it up next time!

Things an (almost) one year old does

The countdown is on. Bebe and Pops are here, as are Aunts Ray Ray (Renee), Colie (Nicole), and Uncle Bill..not to mention all of the "locals" in the family. Jacob's birthday party is tomorrow but here are some recent pics to tide you over until then.

Suzanne Sews!

I want to give Suzanne a small plug for some fantastic work that she has been doing. The "1" you see above is a small sampling of her work. It will be Jacob's bib for his 1 year birthday party. Below are some of Jacob's outfits. I will be out of town for a few days but plan on posting more when I get back. I don't know about you, but I think she should turn this into a business! My Granny will be proud.

Countdown-One Week

Both of us are still in disbelief that our little Jacob is about to be one year old.
Last weekend we took a mini-vacation to Houston. There's not much to show from the trip, other than Jacob is his new "big boy" car seat and the fact that he loves himself VERY much!

Big thanks to the Mills family (check out their blog; it's linked to ours) for the.....I don't know what that toy is called but it works! Their little girl learned to walk on it and Jacob loves it!

 

 

 

 

Time's Ticking

As usual, there is lots of catching up to do with pictures. Neither of us can believe that our little monkey is about to turn 1. This will happen in about three weeks! As you might imagine, there are lots of things going on in Jacob's busy life. He is learning all sorts of tricks. He has found the one "step" in our house; he also enjoys playing with door stops; he LOVES to read (a special thanks to cousin Courtney who read to him on a recent visit); he loves watching baseball with daddy as well as trying to walk. And you can see his hair filling out enough to make a mohawk. Things are fun these days but boy does the time fly. Oh well, every parent in the world has tried to tell us this!
